Eligibility Criteria For IB JIO 2025:

Age Limit

• General: 18–27 years
• Relaxations:
  • SC/ST: +5 years
  • OBC: +3 years
  • Departmental candidates: up to 40 years
  • Widows/divorcees: up to 35–40 years
  • Ex-servicemen & sportspersons: as per rules

Educational Qualification (Any one of the following)

• Diploma in Engineering (Electronics, IT, Computer Science, etc.)
• B.Sc. with Electronics/Computer Science/Physics/Math
• Bachelor’s in Computer Applications

Application Process and Fees:

🔹 Step 1: Preparation Before Registration

Before you begin, keep these ready:

• Valid email ID and mobile number
• Scanned passport-size photo (100–200 KB, jpg/jpeg, not older than 12 weeks)
• Scanned signature (80–150 KB, jpg/jpeg)
• Valid photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, etc.)
• Educational certificates (Class X, XII, Diploma/Degree)

🔹 Step 2: Registration (Step-I)

1. Visit MHA website or NCS portal
2. Click on “I Agree” and then “Registration/Sign-up”
3. Fill in personal and contact details
4. Submit to receive your Application Sequence Number (ASN) and password via email

🔹 Step 3: Application Form Completion (Step-II)

1. Re-login using ASN and password
2. Fill in:
   • Personal details
   • Qualification details
   • Category (UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS/ESM)
   • Exam city preferences (choose 5)
3. Upload:
   • Photograph (light background, face 70–80% visible)
   • Signature (black ink on white paper)

🔹 Step 4: Fee Payment

• General/OBC/EWS (Male): ₹650
• SC/ST/Female/Eligible ESM: ₹550
• Pay via:
  • Online: Debit/Credit card, Net Banking, UPI
  • Offline: Generate SBI e-challan and pay at bank (valid for 4 days)

🔹 Step 5: Final Submission

• Preview all details carefully
• Ensure photo and signature are clear
• Submit the form
• Save/print the final application and payment receipt

🔹 Step 6: Post-Submission

• Keep your ASN safe for future login
• Monitor your email (including spam folder) for updates
• No need to send hard copies
• Carry original ID and identical photos to exam center
